Murch is located at 36th Street NW, between Davenport and Elicott streets and between Connecticut Avenue and Reno Road. The office is located in the south wing, closest to Davenport. Enter on the playground (west) side of the building through the red double doors. Please sign in with the security guard inside before proceeding to the office.
Parking
The parking lot is reserved for Murch faculty and staff. Restricted street parking is available.
Public Transport
- Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority
- Metrobus: Nearest stops are Connecticut Avenue at Davenport Street, and Nebraska Avenue between Davenport and Ellicott streets.
- Metro: Closest stations on the Red Line are AU/Tenleytown and Van Ness.
Visit
Open Houses for Prospective Students
Open houses are held one Thursday a month from October to March, from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. For 2011-2012, the dates are:
- October 13
- November 17
- December 8
- January 12
- March 15
Open Houses feature a presentation from school staff, a question-and-answer session, and a tour of the school and selected classrooms.
School Tours allow parents to take a guided tour of the school and selected classrooms with an opportunity to ask questions while on the tour.
If an open house is cancelled due to inclement weather, call the school or check the Murch website to find out when it will be rescheduled.
