Violaine Briens (vbriens@hotmail.com), a former Murch parent who is now back in her native France, has a 21 year old cousin interested in coming to Washington for July. Violaine Briens says that Dauphine would like to register for half-day English classes and spend the rest of the day babysitting in exchange for a place in the daily life of an American family. Dauphine is ready to pay for her plane ticket and is a "wonderful kid, from a good family, good temper, such a sweet girl" per Violaine

A Canadian Embassy family of four is looking for a home to rent in Upper Northwest for the next two-three years. The Southey-Belisle clan, who have been renting a house on our street, are good tenants and a great addition to the neighborhood.
