Dear Parents and Friends,

Welcome back to Murch!

We are delighted to greet you as the new co-presidents of the Home and School Association (HSA) The goal of the HSA is to support the best interests of our children and our school and to encourage family participation on many different levels. We hope you will join us in continuing the programs and activities that make Murch a special school and community.

This year the HSA will be employing six classroom aides, a part-time guidance aide and a full-time reading specialist. The reading specialist will work with classroom teachers to identify students who need additional support. Please note the new asphalt paths on the playground that were done over the summer and paid for with HSA funds.

The HSA hopes to find ways to involve all of the Murch families in the community. We always are open to new ideas and suggestions.

We also would like to extend a warm welcome to our new principal, Brenda Lewis. We look forward to working with her and the entire Murch community.
