Getting Involved

One of the things that makes Murch a great school is parent involvement. The Home & School Association (H.S.A.) organizes special events and activities throughout the year that need your time. Participating in school events fosters community spirit and adds to a rewarding year for your children and your family. It is also a great way to make new friends – Murch parents are a diverse and fun groups of folks! Come find out for yourself.

All parents are encouraged to get involved. Whether you can give a short amount of time or chair an event, your participation is appreciated. Pick an activity that interests you and fits with your schedule. There are opportunities to volunteer during the day, evenings or weekends throughout the year.

How Do Our Gardens Grow? With Water! Sign up for Summer Watering Duty

Please add your name to the list of volunteers who'll be working this summer to keep our trees and gardens healthy. We have watering teams scheduled every weekend and need plenty of volunteers to ensure the Murch grounds stay green.

March Spring Auction
The Murch auction is the school's biggest fundraiser and a tour-de-force for the community. This “grown-up” party takes place at a glamorous venue where attendees bid on special class creations, travel, fine dining, entertainment packages, gift certificates, books, fine art, and many more wonderful items in both silent and live auctions.

This event depends on an extensive team of parent volunteers to solicit donations of auction items from the business community and from within the Murch community, coordinate class project-gifts, produce the auction catalog, sell tickets, and organize the logistics of the evening itself.
