Yahoo is shutting down Yahoo Groups by the end of the year. We will be moving the Murch Forum to Groups.io. The old Murch forum on yahoo groups will end on November 16, 2020. We will begin using the new groups.io system on November 13. To ensure you don’t miss any forum posts, you will need to take action to join the new group: MurchFamilyForum@groups.io.
What is the Murch Forum?
The Murch forum is a listserve and is an informal way for families to communicate. In the past this has been used to post announcements, recommend services, pose questions and engage each other in discussions about issues related to their children’s experience at Murch. To post a message to the new forum just email MurchFamilyForum@groups.io (once you are a member), sign each post with your name and your child’s class and grade.
ACTION REQUIRED: There are 3 ways to sign up for the new forum:
- Email MurchFamilyForum+subscribe@groups.io (no subject needed). You will then receive a verification email that you must reply to.
OR
- If you were a member of the yahoo group forum, you will have received an emailed invitation from MurchFamilyForum@groups.io on November 13. Follow the instructions in the email to subscribe (either reply to the email or follow the link to select your email preferences and click “Join this group”).
OR
- Go to https://groups.io/g/MurchFamilyForum and then click the blue button: “Apply for membership in this group”; enter your email; then confirm your email by replying to the verification email.
