Did you know many businesses have programs to reward shoppers by making donations to their local schools? Check out these programs and consider signing up. It is one of the easiest things you can do to help provide extra resources to Murch teachers and students!
amazon
You can contribute to the Murch HSA just by shopping at Amazon through the Amazon Smile program. Register your existing Amazon account by going to smile.amazon.com. Choose Murch Elementary HSA as your charity. Then simply bookmark and shop through the address smile.amazon.com. Amazon will donate .5% of the price of eligible purchases to Murch. Most of the things you already buy from Amazon are eligible. Remember to ask friends and family to consider registering as well!
eScrip
The eScrip program allows you to contribute to Murch when you shop at any one of over 800 online merchants. To participate, create an account at eScrip.com. All you need to provide is your name, zip code, and email address to create an account. Then use the eScrip site to link to their online mall, including Target, Macy’s, Apple Store, Best Buy, Gap — and almost everywhere you already shop online. The site also compiles discount codes for each site, so you know you are getting the best deal for you and for Murch! (Please note: As of February 2015, Safeway is no longer participating in the eScrip program.)
Box Tops
Clip those little pink Box Tops on selected General Mills products and earn money for Murch. Each Box Top is worth 10¢ – and they do add up! Look for the 10¢ Box Tops coupons on hundreds of General Mills products and partnering brands such as Cheerios, Betty Crocker, Hefty, Juicy Juice, Ziploc, Kleenex, and many more. Save them up and watch for information from Student Council on when and how to turn them in during their annual collection drive. For more information on the program and coupons, go to boxtops4education.com.
