| The Camp @ Cleveland Park Club offers a low-key, warm, and welcoming setting for campers and counselors alike. This informal summer program combines old-fashioned, self-directed play with organized, hands-on activities. \r\n\r\nCampers and counselors expand their horizons, make lasting friendships, and have fun in an atmosphere reminiscent of the days when neighborhood children of all ages spontaneously gathered for outdoor fun.\r\n\r\nThe camp is intentionally small. Each week, a maximum of 40 campers attend and 10 counselors volunteer to play, teach, and help.\r\n\r\nAlmost all activities take place outdoors. The Club has an expansive porch, large sandbox, two-level fort, and grassy lawn. \r\n\r\nFun and educational projects vary with each week's theme. Campers may enjoy daily free swim in the Club's pool and/or participate in swim instruction (for an additional fee). |

| Run by the ever cheerful and motivational Coach Mac, Home Run is a baseball camp that instills the learning of the game while allowing for great flexibility for the parents. The kids are divided up by age and generally practice skills in the morning and have games in the afternoon. They are adept at dealing with the challenges of hot DC weather as well as bad weather. | Great camp right in the same neighborhood as Murch that offers campers the opportunity to chose from a variety of activities (Sports, Swimming, Arts & Crafts, Cooking Dancing, Acting, etc) that they are interested in to structure their day. My kids went through 4th grade and loved it! They did start to feel they had outgrown it somewhat in 4th grade and definitely now that they are in 5th grade but I can highly recommend it for Pre-K through 3rd in any event. |

| Calleva is an outdoor adventure camp with it's focus on water activities - but not limited too. Kids can start off with day camps that combine land and water activities and then move into Adventure camps which focus on a particular activity (kayaking, rock climbing, rafting, caving, horseback and more) with an overnight. Once they hit middle school, there are even more challenging week long sleep away adventure camps. | A great camp if you have multiple children who like to do different things. Sidwell has straight sport camps (soccer, basketball, field hockey, tennis/golf), as well as specialty camps like Lego Engineering, Voyagers, Handwork Camp, Machine Sewing, Fashion Boot Camp, Community Service and even Driver's Ed. It also has the Explorer program which allows kids to choose five activities per day ranging from soccer to Amazing Race to chess to Hip Hop to Chinese to Cooking and much, much more. For a large camp, it is exceedingly well run and very professional. |
