The HSA has gone mostly paperless, but there are times (particularly at the start of the school year) when things need to be sent home in Friday Folders. In 2015-2016, the school requested that materials for Friday Folders be distributed to teachers by Wednesday at noon. The HSA typically supplies paper and the school has allowed the HSA to use its copiers. Mary Eckstein will determine what the expectations are for 2016-2017. She can also identify how many copies total and per class are needed.
Volunteers make the copies for Friday Folders, divide them up by class, and distribute them in the teachers’ mailboxes. In the past, the HSA clipped a form note to the teacher on each stack to make clear that they are for Friday Folder distribution. There are binder clips (medium and small) in the HSA office supplies that can be used for this purpose if you choose.
Note: In past years, the school sent out copies to the youngest (or only) child in each family to reduce the number of copies made. In 2015-2017, the school did not create or use that list and copies were made for each student. (For directory distribution, Elizabeth Mettler created that list of youngest and only children.)
