Children learn through repetition which explains why they ask to have the same book read over and over and over! This is how their brains “absorb” stories and language patterns. When children are read the same book multiple times, they often remember and retain the meaning of new words. It’s also exciting for a child to hear a story so many times they can anticipate what’s coming next and may even be able to repeat the story.

I asked the parents to talk with their children and identify two books that the children have read many times. The parents sent in the titles and we selected one for each child. The children’s picture will be placed in the front with short narrative that describes their reason for selecting the book.

The cd player and book sets provide another way for the children to hear a story multiple times.

The cost of publishing the 5th grade memoir book will be $1344.20. The majority of the cost was approved by HSA grant earlier this year. It is a bit higher due to inflation and a large grade level (105 students instead of 90 last year). The publisher is Morris. The order form is attached. 1/3 of the cost is due at the beginning to start the publishing. Please submit payment as soon as possible! Thank you!
