For the third year, Murch is partnering with DC Food Project to provide students easy access to non-perishable food and toiletries on an as-needed basis. Items are distributed to students from the School Pantry throughout the school year and are given away free of charge to program participants. For more information about Murch’s Pantry Program, please contact Lauren Miller, Murch’s School Counselor.
DC Food Project is seeking volunteers for 5 distribution days this school year! Volunteers will help transport thousands of meals to support the organization’s Pantry Program, which provides assistance to over 35 schools across the District, including Murch.
Volunteers are needed on the following dates: November 15 (tomorrow!), December 13, February 7, April 11, and June 6. If you are interested in volunteering, please visit the sign-up genius for more information and to sign-up.
