Please consider donating to the HSA’s Murch Staff End-of-Year Gift Fund by Friday, June 12. This fund recognizes the many dedicated staff members who make our school community strong—beyond the classroom teachers, who are celebrated separately by room parents.

Join us for our next Coffee on the Playground & HSA Community Meeting on Friday, June 12 from 8:45–9:30 AM. Grab a cup of coffee, connect with other families, and hear updates from Mr. C and the HSA.

We hope to see you there for coffee, conversation, and community!

🎓 Fifth Grade Promotion will take place on Monday, June 15, from 10:00–11:15 AM. The ceremony will be followed by a Reception for fifth grade students and their families.

👏 At 12:00 PM, the entire school community will gather for the beloved Murch Clap-Out, a special tradition in which students and staff line the halls to cheer on and celebrate the fifth graders as they leave the building for the final time as Murch students.

The Murch Local School Advisory Team (LSAT) will meet on Monday, June 15 from 6:15-7:45PM.

All LSAT meetings are held virtually, open to the entire Murch community, and include an opportunity for Q&A. We hope you'll join us for the final meeting of the school year!

There will be no school for students or staff on Tuesday, June 16, 2026 due to the DC Primary Election.

☀️ The Fifth Grade Picnic will be held on Wednesday, June 17 from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM, providing one final opportunity for students to celebrate together and make lasting memories with their classmates.

Calling all Murch dads! Join us on Thursday, June 18 at 8 PM at Comet Ping Pong for an evening of good conversation, community, and connection.
