Good news! Fall Student Portraits are now online for viewing and ordering. Families of photographed students should have received an email from Freed Photography with a link to their private gallery (be sure to check your spam folder!).

Murch ES GOOD NEWS (1)International Display at Murch
The Murch International Committee is excited to bring back the International Display at the school entrance! This rotating showcase will feature cultural items from the many countries and traditions represented in our community.

Did you catch the surprise pop-up of the New Morning Farm Market across from Murch last week? If not—no worries! They’ll be back every Tuesday in September from 3–7PM on Ellicott Street (in the parking lot of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church).

Do afterschool and summer programs in D.C. meet your family’s needs? The Deputy Mayor for Education and the Office of Out of School Time (OST) want to hear from YOU!

- Community Engagement Coordinator: Coordinate special events like restaurant fundraisers and group tickets to sporting events, helping Murch families connect outside of school.

Kids Ride Free Metro Cards – Request Your New Card!
The 2024–2025 Kids Ride Free Metro Cards will expire on September 30, 2025.
To ensure your student can continue riding free on Metrobus and Metrorail, please request a new card for the 2025–2026 school year by completing this form starting on August 12. ✅

Wonders Extended Day at Murch – Enroll Today!
