Join us for another fun HSA-sponsored event on Saturday, January 25 at 10AM as Murch takes over the Avalon Theater for a Saturday Matinee!
The movie will be announced soon, but put this on your calendar now because this event is not only free, but sure to be a great time!
The Murch HSA, in partnership with Nova Arborist, will host its annual holiday tree mulching event on Saturday, January 11 from 12-3PM.
If you’d like to dispose of your holiday tree, bring it to Murch (at the corner of Davenport and 36th Street). We’ll help you remove it from your car and move it to the chipper. A suggested donation of $10-15 is all we ask!
Volunteers are needed to help collect donations and point people where to go. Interested? Sign up for a one-hour shift HERE.
Are you interested in helping with fundraising, communications, or teacher support? Would you like to meet other Murch parents? If you answered yes to any of these, you should come to the next Murch Home & School Association (HSA) meeting on Tuesday, January 7 at 7PM in the Library. As always, all are welcome to attend!

We are so close to our SOS goal! Thank you to everyone who has contributed to the HSA’s Support Our School (SOS) Campaign. We truly appreciate your investment in our school.
Since we are only $17,000 away from our goal of raising $110,000, we’ve decided to extend the SOS Campaign to Friday, January 10!

Murch is partnering with Chess Academy, Amore Learning, and Kaizen Karate for 8 sessions of after-school programming this winter. Sessions will begin the week of February 3 and end the week of March 24 or March 31 (depending on days off from school).

Amore Learning after-school classes will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30-4:30PM starting on February 4th. Class options are listed below. Please click on each link for more information and to register. You can also view the full list HERE.
Kaizen Karate after school activities will be held on Thursdays from 3:30-4:30PM starting on February 6th. For more information and to register, please click HERE.
Scholarships for after-school programs are available by contacting Ms. Miller.
Amore Learning also offers Individual Signature Tutoring. Tutoring sessions can be scheduled from 3:30-4:30PM on Tuesdays and Thursdays. For more information, please contact Liz Rosenberg, Director of Tutoring and Consulting at Amore Learning.
Please note that the HSA-sponsored Murch Plus program will return in Spring 2025.
