With winter break upon us – we are still short of our goals!
Please contribute to SOS today so that we don’t have to cut funding for next year including:
- teacher aides
- extra teacher supplies and aides like laptops iPads
- teacher grants
And its in perfect time to help out your your taxes
WHY CONTRIBUTE?
- There is a special urgency this year, as there is uncertainty around the renovation and our swing space. There is a very good chance, the renovation will required additional help from the HSA to fill in potential gaps in resources and supplies.
- The HSA will need to consider cutting Teacher Support in future years if the response is not adequate.
- The HSA raises nearly all of its funds through two primary fundraisers: the SOS Campaign and the Spring Auction. Other activities throughout the year may raise some money, but are designed as community events. The SOS Campaign is the most cost effective way for the school to raise money, without the overhead costs and volunteer hours required of other fundraising events. That means that your entire donation to the SOS Campaign is tax deductible and goes directly to educational supports at the school.
